We caught a play last night called "39 Steps". It was fantastic, a very cleverly done play. And when it came to the set design and actors, you realised they had a wonderful sense of imagination to portray the story. Very funny, and enjoyable, you could really feel the chemistry between the small cast of four. The quick costume changes, and character changes made for a very enjoyable show, and one we were glad to see while in new york. We have yet to see a big broadway production, but I'm hoping we'll get tickets to one tonight, our last night here. If not, just the fact there is so much live theatre here is amazing.
As is pretty normal in New York, the subway system is super amazing, and you can get around the entire place with little trouble at all. I'm still convinced I could never live here. There are the pros; transit is fabulous, you can find almost anything you want, at any time of the day (fancy a cantaloupe at 3am on a Tuesday? No problem), the energy of the city is contagious. Cons: It's busy, so busy all the time. We stayed in Brooklyn, and although that's smaller, and more suburban, it is really hard to escape the city. Plus you can't ride a bike here, and that's a must for any city I want to live in! It's been a very fun city to explore, and I really doubt you could get bored here.
