Pictures taken at Central Park, New York.
This post was sitting in my drafts, so back tracking a few days ago, when we where in Central Park.
We finally bought tickets to a show on Broadway called "Kinky Boots", and my overall take from it was 'meh'. It seemed to be lacking in chemistry between the cast and the audience most of the time, and started off pretty slow. Though, once the drag queen main lead came on stage though, he ruled the show, and his singing numbers were fantastic. But the fun thing was to see another show in New York, and an excuse to dress up!
We'd spent the day in Central Park, which are where these pics were taken. It was lovely to be able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city; once you're inside, the noise of the city almost disappears. For those who live in New York,it must be a great escape from city life. We even saw a monument from Egypt called "Cleopatra's Needle", built 1450 bC. It was very odd to see something so old, and out of place in Central Park. Next post should be from our running around in Boston.
