Coney Island, where the fun never stops, and if you can eat a record setting of hotdogs, your name is put on the wall. We took the train down to Coney Island, and it's a kind of weird place to go when the theme park isn't open, and the weather was freezing! Surrounded by commissions houses, or the projects, as they call them here, there is a huge contrast from the fun and frivolity of the amusement park.
I imagine during the summer time, it's a crazy busy place to go. And being so close to New York, why not. You get the beach, those fake palm trees even survive the winter,
These were taken a few days ago, as it's now the end of the week, and tonight we fly to Germany! Final day in the USA for a while, and it's been an incredible road trip. I've wanted to do this for so long, and the opportunity was right, I was able to do it with my wonderful boyfriend, and we had so much fun on the way, stayed with fantastic people, and survived the weeks of camping! Next step Munich, to see more friends and drink more beer!
