Victoria is full of surprises; from the pug paradise restaurant masquerading as an Oyster house, to the mystery lane with toys galore, and the world's largest miniature museum. Going back to the Oyster house (Ferris Oyster Bar), my bf does not like oysters, and so I had to win him over with a promise of drinks. However, both he and I were in for a surprise. Andrew's eye was caught right away by the tie the owner of the restaurant was wearing; it was covered in pugs, and boy does Andrew love pugs. This restaurant used to hold pug parties for the city! Want to be witness to a pug wedding, or pug pirates? It's all here.
And while on our way through the city, we found this hidden, tiny lane way. No one was around, but someone had left toys for those fortunate enough to come across it. A kid, or adults, playground of chalk, bubbles, hula hoops, and a mini free library. And yes, I had to show off my hula hoop skills :P
