I was the only “hiker” in a tutu in the Canyonlands National Park, but being in camp clothes for the last week takes its toll. And as it was, Andrew’s knee wasn’t very good that day, so we weren’t able to do any of the hikes into the canyons, which meant I could wear a pretty dress, and not be held back so to say. I also discovered I’m very good at scrambling up rocks in a tutu. I am a firm believer that you can wear most anything in any situation. Exhibit A, tulle in the daytime, and in a national park. I feel like I should say something serious and life changing, especially as I have a serious, posing while looking over the canyons look, but I really just wanted you to see the dress detail at the back.
Up to now Canyonlands might be my favorite, if only for the never ending, desolate landscape of the canyons. There were even areas of greenery where the river runs through, though you can barely see the river from the top, as the canyons run too deep.
