I am so thrilled with this thrifted head to toe outfit. It’s not often you find a pair of shorts with so much character. The strawberries for one, and the frills for another. It’s a little difficult to see the frills in the camera, and my twilling pictures didn't work out. But I feel like this is a great vintage style outfit.
Back to being in love. I adore high waisted shorts, and these shorts fit the bill. They’re light, and easy to wear and perfect for summer biking around. In fact we road around a section of Port Phillip Bay on the weekend, and these proved the perfect accessory for slipping over your bathing suit and swimming along the way!
The sunglasses and blouse were picked up at an op shop the week before, and I found the shoes on a fantastic thrifting day on Chapel St, Prahran. I’ve come to the conclusion the best place for thrifting in Melbourne is that side of town; which also happens to be the area where people have a lot of money. The thrift stores are covered in brand/designer names, and the women who live in that area must all have a size 9 foot!
