I found this dress on my first thrifting adventure back in Australia. I haven't had a chance to photograph it, and I finally got around to it. When I was going though the pictures, I realised I didn't move my head much with any of the shots! So you'll have to excuse my right headed tilt..
This week we’re house and dog sitting at a family's place right near the center of Melbourne. Not only is it close to the city, bonus! It’s also down the road from my best friend and her husband. We even realised there is an apartment for rent in their block, but unfortunately it’s out of our budget. Holly and I lived together for two years, and to live in the same building would be fabulous. We’d probably end up eating cheese and drinking wine every night. Not that I can think of anything wrong with that…
Looking for a place to rent is hard enough of a decision; how people buy a house, I don't know! I can't imagine making a decision to spend a huge amount of money on something you then have to live in for years. Talk about a commitment. I think in theory I'd like to own a place, although I think the drive at the moment is to have a place I can put together and decorate without restriction. Renting is not the most friendly for that. Clearly the best thing to do is live near my best friend so we can all just pretend we don't need to grow up!
