Apart from the polka dot tights, I thrifted this entire outfit! The lace dress was a bit of a fluke really (and only $10), held in a dusty, old, run down op shop and one I tend to avoid. But my Aunt had asked me to show her the tricks of the op shopping/ thrifting trade, so that meant going into the good and the ugly. I've started to put together some of my top op shopping tips in a new blog post, so be sure to keep an eye out and I'll have that up in the next week or two. I loved this dress as soon as I put it on, it fits perfectly, it can be dressed up or down, and as we're going into winter on my side of the world, it's also the perfect winter dress. This $2 red belt adds to the fun. I've never had a red belt before, but I loved the detail of it.
I've also set myself a challenge this week. I'm starting a new job next week, woo! And it's much more corporate like than any of my previous jobs, so my challenge is to thrift as much as I can for my new wardrobe; I think I can get in under $100. Wish me luck!
