Fur scarf: Thrifted
Rust duster coat: Old
I was so excited for this outfit. I picked up the dress for $6 yesterday at a local op shop in South Melbourne, and I was pretty convinced I'd have to wait for spring or summer to wear it. But, I love a challenge, and as I also have a habit of wearing out of season clothing I put this together for brunch. The knee high boots with the mini take it into 60's territory, and the fur scarf and duster keep it there.
And if you're wondering if my legs are cold, they were most certainly not! Have you discovered the warming magic of stockings? I feel as if I've only discovered stockings in the last few years, but it totally means you can bear some leg during these winter months without actually bearing any skin. I call that magic. Oh and they make your legs look super smooth as well. Time to invest in a few more pairs - anyone have any tips on how not to tear them? I've torn my polka dot tights, and I'm devastated!
