I have to say my boyfriend has eyes like a hawk. He spotted this graffiti lady on a wall on the edge of a highway. Naturally we just had to come back and take pictures. What a fabulous background it turned out to be, just perfect for me to show off these amazingly fun pom-pom earrings. I’ve seen variations of the pom pom earring for a while, and rather than spending a lot more money to grab a pair, I decided to make my own. I had a little battle with blunt scissors, but all up they only took about 20 mins! The wool was from a thrift store for $1, and the earring hooks came from the same thrift store for 50 cents! Bargain. I rarely wear earrings, but these are so light, cute and fun, that I think I’ll be wearing them all week! Perhaps in different colours too.
I had to pair one of my favourite Mac bright pink lipsticks with these earrings, and of course these stunning sunglasses from Bonlook. All up I felt super girly! The dress was a gift from my boyfriend and from one of my favourite stores in Melbourne, Princess Highway. This shop always has gorgeous printed dresses, super fun accessories, and some beautiful vintage style clothing. The colors of the dress are perfect for summer, though I do feel like the material is a tad thick. Therefore perfect to be dressed up for winter with tights and boots! Oh and you can only see a little bit of my shoes, but they are one of my last Amazon purchases when I was living in the US. Bright yellow clogs! We had to cut photographing short because apparently I was stepping in stinging nettle and that was not kind to my feet! Whoops, note to self, watch where you’re photographing!
